missed "cookie go day" this year but it is that time again. noelle will be taking orders through friday of this week. checks to girlscout troop 10486.

the st. charles chargers white squad picked up their first "w" today, winning 7th place in the crossover tournament. alaina had 2 pts today in the 20-18 nail biter. the teams has taken it's lumps this year but it's nice to get that first win in the books. onward and upward. go chargers!

skol vikings!

i didn't know what "skol" meant. had to look it up. apparently it means "salute" or "toast". at any rate, big game this sunday for the purple as they take on the dallas cowboys for the right to the nfc championship game. we all know what comes after that one. trying not to get my hopes too high but this is as good a team as they've had in many years, so why not? vikes fans have been used to post season collapses in recent years so i hope the vikes can squeak out a win. need big games from peterson, favre, jared allen, defensive secondary, and the offensive line. playing in the dome is a big-time advantage but we'll see. skol vikes!

17th anniversary today...

a 2 and a half minute walk down memory lane. as you can see, the quality of the video isn't great but it was originally shot on standard analog. several years ago i converted it to dvd. this week i ripped the dvd to avi format, converted it to mpeg, imported it into imovie, edited it, and then exported it back to mpeg4. it's a taste of what our wedding was like without having to watch all 1 hour and four minutes.
hair styles and fashions have come and gone but we still love each other the same!
