1967-2012

We are mourning the loss of my wife's brother Rod Martin. "Uncle Rod" was a beloved son, brother, and uncle to my kids and will be missed dearly. To anyone that had the fortune to know him, Rod had a generous spirit, a kind heart, and delicate nature that endeared him to us all. While we are saddened at his passing, we celebrate his life and cherish his memory. As Christians, we take comfort in that fact that Christ overcame death and it is not the end, but a passage way to our souls eternal life. 

"We are confident, yes, well pleased, rather to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"

the st charles chargers 8th grade girls basketball team takes first place in the 16th annual audrey puchtel classic varsity tournament. congrats to the girls and best of luck the rest of the season!

st charles soccer champs again!

the st. charles varsity soccer team won the mcyo championship with a hard fought 3-2 victory over ascension. the game was scoreless after regulation and two 5 minute overtime periods and was decided in a penalty kick shootout. congratulations to the chargers for a dramatic victory and good luck as they advance to the twin cities championship tomorrow night at benilde-st margaret

SAVHS homecoming weekend...

st. anthony village high school is celebrating their 50 year class reunion and homecoming this weekend.  allie (class of '84, far right in video) was able to re-live some of her glory days by performing the school fight song with other dance line members form over the years. go huskies!

6-nil win for the chuckies...

the 4th and 5th grade st charles cub team improved to 1-1 with a convincing 6-0 win on sunday

fall soccer in full swing...

have 2 in fall soccer, my son playing in 2 leagues, new brighton park & rec and for his st. charles cub team. he has games, friday, saturday, and sunday this weekend. daughter playing for st. charles 8th grade varsity team. it was a cool but beautiful day for the beautiful game
