the departed...

we are shipping up to boston bright & early in the a.m. i have lowered my travel expectations so as not to be completely thrown off when things go south. i am assuming that our flight from mpls will be delayed, we'll miss our connecting flight in philly, our luggage will end up at LAX, and the shuttle to the car rental - out of service. low expectations = few disappointments. this way if things do happen to go well, it'll feel as though we're living charmed lives. we have family members checking on the cat and retired neighbors with nothing to do watching the house.
looking forward to the getaway, it comes at a much needed time for me. i make no promises as to the frequency of blog posts and\or tweets, it'll depend on web access, time, and other uncontrollables, but i will try to keep up as much as possible. i'm sure i'll have a scad of pics to post upon my return. until then, enjoy this bit of celtic-punk by a band of irish-american hooligans known as the "drop-kick murphy's". cheers
