We are mourning the loss of our dear friend, Sue Dickhausen Otteson, who passed away on Saturday, December 20 after her long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a truly beautiful person inside and out and was loved by many. We are holding close in our prayers her husband Kirk and her two sons, Alec and Grant, and all her family.

the above is written by my wife allison, a friend of sue's from high school and college. i got to know sue through my wife nearly 20 years ago, and she really was an extraordinary person. she had a kind and pure heart and people were drawn to her bubbly personality and zest for life. cancer took her way too soon - she is greatly missed.

I feel so fortunate to have met Sue through Allison. She was always happy and such a wonderful person to be around. I still remember meeting her for the first time at her birthday party in uptown, and how Skip and I bought her a birthday card that jokingly said something about having known her for several years. :) Wonderful memories!
